This is one of the best days of the year to be a Finely Crafted Realty agent! Any Parks & Rec fans reading? It's a "TREAT YO SELF" day, if you will. We start picking out the places we want to go and things we want to do months in advance. This is our day as a team to cut loose and celebrate the accomplishments from the previous year. At the same time, we are also recharging for the year to come. If you have yet to implement a Treat Yo Self Day with your family, friends or co-workers, we would highly recommend it.

Without further ado, here is a recap of our day in the form of a timeline

10 AM: We meet up at the office and Sam mentions going to Starbucks on the way to our first stop. Was Starbucks in the original plans? No. Are we all on board for that? 100% yes. Treat Yo Self.

10:30 AM: Now caffeinated, we arrive at Target. For the past two years we have started this day by Christmas shopping for families in need, who have young children. We always have a blast picking out outfits and toys for each child. So remember to not only "Treat Yo Self" but "Treat Yo Community" as well.

11:30 AM: Morale is high. With full hearts after our gift shopping we head to Downtown Louisville to find a good lunch option. Atlantic No. 5 is a great lunch cafe on Main Street. It was quick and fresh. Anywhere with a top notch chicken salad is alright in my book.

1 PM: We walk 2 blocks down and 1 block over to arrive at Louisville Glassworks. I could watch glass blowing all day. It is amazing what some of these artists are able to create. At Christmas time, you can sign up to make Christmas ornaments with a group and the 3 of us had the place to ourselves! We persuaded the glass smiths to let us do more advanced designs. This was a really neat experience and the people there were fantastic.

2:00 PM: One of our all-time favorite things to do is boutique hop. There are so many unique shops in Nulu that we found, many of which feature tons of local artists. And if that doesn't do it for you, then Macaron Bar will. That place sells Heaven in a tiny sandwich cookie.

4 PM: At this stage, we are fairly winded from walking to so many shops. Treat Yo Self day is fun, but it'll wear you out. In need of a pick me up, we stumbled into The Champagnery right at 4 . We were the first patrons to arrive for the day. They have all things bubbly and fancy! The space is designed to perfection, making it the perfect environment to wind down with some friends. It's also an ideal pre- or post-dinner stop!

6 PM: The final leg. We meet up with husbands & boyfriends for dinner at Le Moo. If you have yet to experience this local dinner hot spot, it is something to behold. We basically rolled ourselves out of the restaurant and then it was lights out for Treat Yo Self Day 2018.
