Ok guys, let's get this show on the road! You read about our new adventure of buying a building in the first part of our blog series, now let's move on to the next step in our thought process, the exterior inspiration! If you missed the first post, you can check it out here: We Bought a Building Part One: The Befores.

One of our biggest goals with our office space is to keep it feeling like home to all of our customers, which is why we've decided to go with a less commercialized look on the exterior.

The most dramatic change we have planned for the exterior is to paint the brick a light gray, Sherwin Williams Repose Gray to be exact. We feel like this is going to modernize the building and provide a great base for some of the other features we have planned.

The other 'big impact' item we have planned is to extend the front porch and roof line. We want to eliminate 2 out of the 3 existing gables, and enlarge the center gable. We also plan to incorporate a couple craftsman style columns, which will pair well with a new front door and lighting.

The windows will be swapped out and trimmed out, we will also be adding a couple windows on the side of the building in order to add more natural light. We will also be re-roofing and re-siding the back addition, which will become storage space for signs, etc.

Other elements we are super excited about include dark bronze gutters, shutters, and of course new landscaping. To finish things off, we plan to have our logo painted on the brick. We are stoked about this!
