Why a printed newsletter?

There are so many simplified and free ways to take the same information we're printing, and share it online. We fully realize that. So why do we spend so much energy designing a layout, creating relevant content, having it printed, waiting 5-7 days for it to be delivered and walking the streets of our neighborhoods to make sure everyone gets their free copy?

As engaged as we are on our website and social media, we desperately miss the days of coming home to find our favorite magazine in the mailbox. A magazine that kept us entertained and inspired and didn't come with distractions in the form of emails, texts and strategically placed ads.

Now that everything seems to be online, it's almost therapeutic to hold something in your hand and actually flip a page. We chose this newsletter concept so that we could give our community something interesting, inspiring & relevant to look forward to every month. As we progress, we'll stay connected to this monthly ritual -- knowing that sometimes it's a good thing to keep something the old-fashioned way.

If you live in a neighborhood in the Buckner area, or you simply follow along with all of our shenanigans, you might be familiar with this monthly newsletter of ours. For those of you that are new here, you've probably gathered from the title that we have decided to make our newsletter totally inclusive.

In doing so, we are changing our delivery method. Currently, our delivery service looks less like a 'delivery service' and more like us walking our dogs/kids while distributing copies to paper boxes. We've spent countless hours fighting the wind and praying our hard work doesn't go flying all over the neighborhood. The wind usually wins.

If you live in one of those neighborhoods, this isn't goodbye! Get yourself on the list and you will not skip a beat. If you do not live in that area, then we've got some sweet news! Youtoo can see our newsletter in your mailbox every month.

It gets better. Your first newsletter is going to come with perks! As always we like to spice things up and get other companies involved in our projects. We hope to feature different businesses every once and a while and find neat ways to reward those within our Finely Crafted Realty Family! What to Expect When You're Expecting ... Our Newsletter

CREATIVE.  Designed to be fun and visual, we are showing off alllll the pretty houses and fun home design every month. We'll sprinkle in DIY ideas, local business spotlights, philanthropic projects, Q & A's with interesting people AND you'll be the first to know every time we throw a fun party or event!

INFORMATIVE. We realize that when you ask "How's the real estate market these days?" the answer you end up getting sounds something like, "HOT HOT HOT FLYING OFF THE SHELVES AND SELLING LIKE HOT CAKES!" That's a bold claim. We're going to keep it real. We'll give an honest take on the market from time to time because we want you to be informed.

ENGAGING. We want to hear from you. Let's open up the lines of communication and talk about some real life stories! We want to hear your thoughts and your experiences. What are your success stories, challenges, encounters with real estate, questions on new construction, current projects, latest obsessions, entrepreneurial endeavors, etc. etc.? We hope to feature messages from our readers.

We're pretty passionate about the power of learning from one another. At our office, we write out "case studies" based on learning experiences that we've been through. We share those case studies with each other and use it as a tool to grow our expertise. Every time we put an important lesson in the context of a real life situation, we always remember to apply that lesson moving forward.

Opening up this conversation is a powerful thing. We're exciting to begin building each other up and sinking our roots deeper in a community that we are proud to be a player in.
