My Favorite Wedding Gifts I'm Registering For.

Registering for wedding gifts is a different kind of fun.

I had no idea I could get this psyched out of my mind over pots and pans, but here I am! And I’ve learned a few tricks along the way. My best advice was to register for what you want, and don’t get caught up in price. For example, I definitely want a kitchenaid mixer because I can’t go more than 48 hours without eating a freshly baked good. Am I worried about someone buying it? Shoot, no! People will get gift cards if the items left are too expensive. Once the wedding has passed, the store will let you shop at a discount on what remains. That is called having your cake and eating it, too. (Literally, in my case). I registered at Crate and Barrel, Target and Williams-Sonoma. Crate and Barrel wins for having the most unique selection without being outrageous. The Williams-Sonoma ‘premium’ was a bit ridiculous in my honest opinion. But I still found a few things there that I loved.

Item #1 - Le Creuset 3.5 quart Everyday Pan. - Crate and Barrel

I realize I’m coming in hot since I’m starting with the Le Creuset. This is one of those pans you’ll use constantly. And if there were a nuclear bomb, I’m pretty sure all Le Creuset cookware would survive.

Item #2 - Marin White Plates - Crate and Barrel

This is where Crate and Barrel get points for flair. They had so many white plate options, I was actually mesmerized. My (almost) mother in law told me beautiful white plates are all you need. You can dress them up all you want for holidays, but always start with a pretty white plate.

Item #3 - 16” Ruffle Platter - Crate and Barrel

My only comment is that this platter is incredible.

Item #4 - OXO 10-Piece POP Container Set - Crate and Barrel

Whether you are organization obsessed or not, these containers keep things fresh for days on end. And I like being able to see if I’m out of something.

Item #5 - Tour Red Wine Glass - Crate and Barrel

Finely Crafted Realty | Jordan Phillips Sellers agent

So, funny story. I went to Crate and Barrel in Nashville once. We happened to be visiting my Maid of Honor who lives there. The sales associate literally picked this glass up and started smacking it against the metal shelving! I was so concerned about her mental well-being I didn’t realize it was a sales maneuver. The website says it’s “made of break-, chip- and scratch-resistant Tritan glass” and I’d have to agree with their claim.

Item #6 - Rosebud Silicone Ice Mold - Williams Sonoma

Not exactly the most beneficial thing on my list but… these look so pretty in a glass!!!! Particularly if you are a white wine drinker, these ice molds are just flat out ~ f a n c y ~

Item #7 - OXO Salad Spinner - Crate and Barrel

No one likes soggy salads. Let’s all be better people and start spinning our lettuce.

Item #8 - Steele Canvas Laundry Basket - Crate and Barrel

Finely Crafted Realty | Jordan Phillips Realty

We do not know where we’re living yet, but knowing my luck, the laundry room will be clear across the house. Since I hate carrying laundry baskets, the wheels on this bad boy will solve that problem.

Item #9 - King Chunky Knit Blanket - Target

Finely Crafted Realty | Finely Crafted Blog

All of the Casaluna bedding at Target is awesome. You don’t have to dip into your 401k to afford it and it’s really good quality. Bedding should get replaced every few years anyway. I just don’t believe in maxing yourself out at the Lottery Barn over bed sheets. Plus, it comes in a beautiful neutral palette!

That’s a wrap. Can you tell I’ve invested a lot of thought in this? I’m getting back to work now…

But WAIT! What did you register for? What wedding gifts are you still using in your home? "
